SKUE is a platform for buyers to create a special buying experience with designers.
Let's dive right in!
STEP 1: Login with your Password
Login with the creds from the Merchant Account email sent to you. Search "Your SKUE Merchant Account" in your email for the first time you log in. Add the email and password. You can change this password in the settings.
Trouble Remembering Passwords? No Problem
With so many passwords, it's hard to remember them all. We use a secure gateway (used by services like Linkedin, Medium and Microsoft) where you just need to enter the email you signed up with. You'll instantly receive a secure link in an email (valid for 15 minutes ). Click on it and you will be logged in.
STEP 2: Record your favorites
Once you're in the marketplace, favorite products with a click on the heart. They'll get saved to your profile under "My Dashboard" for easy reference. It's easier than storing all that info in your head, you already have a lot on your mind.
STEP 3: Add products to start your order (or inquire)
When you "Add to Order", products will get added to the cart along with the min qty.
"Inquire" will start a new conversation. The designer will get notified by email about your inquiry.
STEP 4: View products in your mini-carts
SKUE will create separate mini-carts for each designer you plan to order from. By clicking confirm order, you'll be able to send an order request to each maker individually. Each maker will get a separate order request.
STEP 5: Send order request
When you are happy with your order, add a note to the designer mentioning your preferred ship date or shipping preference. Or a question. Or quick note. Then click on Send Order Request.
STEP 6: Get order confirmation from the designer
Once the designer confirms they can fulfill the order within your stated time, you'll receive a confirmation email that links to your invoice on SKUE. Click on "View confirmed order" in your email.
Another Way to View Orders
You can also view your orders when you login by clicking on your profile icon. Then click "Orders".
STEP 7: Pay with your card
Checkout is via Stripe. No need to add a billing address. Stripe cross checks your card with CVV number. Stripe is PCI compliant and encrypts your card information. SKUE does not store any credit card info.
NOTE: If you have an agreement with the maker that it is OK to pay when shipped, you can defer payment until that time.
STEP 8: Track your Order
The maker will add a tracking number when shipped. Track your order online and you will be able to see when it will arrive for your customers.
STEP 8: View your order history anytime
Whenever you feel like revisiting the status of your order, or reordering from a maker, or adding more items to a previous order, it's all here in one place.

You can sort to your favorites, Your favorites, makers you follow, and view products from makers who are looking for store readiness tips.
THING 2: Curated for you
When our teams find a something special, we'll add it to a section called "Curated for you". The more you use SKUE, the better products we can curate.
THING 3: Give feedback
SKUE only accepts professional handmade makers who can produce at wholesale volume and price. However, even seasoned makers need that extra retail nudge to make them wholesale ready. They are allowed to post one product for feedback from retailers like yourself.
